Sin city SANd volleyball tournament 2024

Up to 28 teams will compete in a 2 day tournament.
14 Advanced Division Team, 14 Recreational Teams

Please note: This is an LGBTQAI+ RECREATIONAL TOURNAMENT. We welcome players of all skill, gender, and sexuality, but the primary focus of this tournament is to represent the QUEER COMMUNITY in all capacities.

TOURNAMENT STYLE

Sin City is a seeded bracket tournament.

Day 1 - Teams will compete in 3 matches in a round robin rotation. Their tournament seeding will be determined by their final rank. Games are played in 1 hour time frames, best 2 out of 3, rally points to 21.

Day 2 - Single Elimination tournament.

All teams are guaranteed 4 games minimum in the tournament (4 hours of play)

Brackets will be determined by location and blind draw. As this is a national tournament, we want teams from around the country to be able to compete against other teams.

TEAM SIZES:

Roster MINIMUM to compete is 5 Players. Maximum is 7

PLAYER COST:

$55 - starting Sept 1st.
$60 - starting Nov 1st
$70 - after Dec 1st
Registration CLOSES Dec 31st
NO REFUNDS ONCE A PLAYER REGISTERS.
All Teams Must Have a TOURNAMENT Minimum by Dec 1st.

COVID19 CANCELLATION POLICY: OutLoud Sports (OLS) is following all guidance and efforts to ensure we can successfully play in our annual tournament. However, OLS will not be responsible for cancellations based on the fluctuation of closings based on Covid19 spikes or any other action out of the control of our organization. We will do our very best to notify players as far, in advance, as possible. If the tournament has to cancel, OLS will issue full refunds to the captains. If a team or player is unable to come due to the pandemic, we will not be offering refunds past Nov 15th.
